Unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour notes, fruity, wood, moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, alcohol warm. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, light alcoholic. [20100327]

Bottle. Hazy amber with a creamy steady off white head. The aroma contains dry brett, lots of fruit and sweet caramel. Light alcoholic. The flavour is caramel, sugar, ripe fruit, alcohol and barley. Sweet alcoholic finish.

Bottle @ Papsø. Tasted blind. Pours clear reddish amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is tart of berries, red wine and yeast. Flavor adds caramel, almond and alcohol. Vinous. Full bodied. Warmth... Good.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is phenolic, fruity and slight yeasty. Sweet fruity flavoured, light malt note mixed with a lot of yeasty fruit flavours. Smooth and mellow. Lingering fruity, malty and yeasty finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Aroma has overripe fruit and a slight tartness. Medium body, very sweet fruits - slightly overripe - again with a discreet tartness. A little yeast too. Rather warming alcohol finish. 270310

750 ml bottle. Served in a goblet, the beer pours a copper/red color with about an inch tan head. Head retention is good, but not much lacing at all. Aroma is very sweet, malty and strong, it smells like dark fruit (figs, cherries, raisins), candy sugar, caramel malt, and a little bit of booze. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like dark fruit, yeast, brown sugar, candy sugar, brandy, and some bready malt and spice. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s nice and creamy, and also has medium/high but soft carbonation. The smoothness of this brew makes it easy to drink, but the 12% ABV does have a kick to it after a while. Overall I think it’s a good solid brew. It’s certainly worth trying.

Hazy copper/red color with tan head. Big sweet n’ spicy aromas of brown sugar, brown malts, corn syrup, Smooth medium body. Fruity spicy sweet flavors of figs, dark raisons, spicy yeast, brown malts, sweet corn syrup, mild soap, alcohol is well hidden. good.
