2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy pink amber with a white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of raspberry, yeast and dough. Body is semi-thin, watery and grainy with some wheat and mild raspberry in there. Somewhat astringent finish that leaves a bad aftertaste. I like what Schlafly has to offer unless the words hefe-weizen appear in the name.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled Mar 28 2008. Only slightly artificial raspberry syrup nose with an underlying wheat base. Icky dirty-looking watermelon-pink body, clear with a soapy white head. Goopy, slick body, refreshing with a dry, bready wheaten aftertaste. Razz taste isn’t actually as bad as expected, mild and fruity, though without a bit more carbonation the overall effect is rather sterile. Light body. Expecting more out of you guys! But would have another.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft sample at Keg Fest. Poured hazy reddish amber color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate sweet raspberry & wheat aroma. Light to medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable soft sweet beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not the smell of raspberry that I was anticipating. It is generally weak sauce, with decent, at best, flavor.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This has become a staple at brewpubs ans Schlafly has theirs. Like all the rest is has a pleasant raspberry aroma and flavor of both berry and wheat.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tried this at Hop in the City 2007 just to see if it tasting any different than the last time I tried it in the Taproom. Had a pink cloudy color with little to no head and a slightly sweet aroma. Had a crisp carbonated finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled on 5/24/07. Poured a subtle pink-tinted peach with a short, sticky cap of white head. Aroma was on the softer side with fresh raspberry seeds and fruits over a dry, tart wheat base. The flavor had a tart raspberry and wheat foray the opened up ever-so-slightly into a raspberry meat and wheaty base.. left lemongrass and tangy raspberry on the finish. Light-bodied with a dry, almost sticky fruit presence.. too dry on the finish.. the balance felt off. Refreshing, though.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale pink, with an even paler pink head. Understated raspberry aroma, and the flavor manages to be both understated and cloying at the same time. I usually think the Schlafly beers are underrated, but this one is a miss.
