2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a lighter golden yellow with a minimal head. Nose is, well honestly, vacant. Strained to get something off the scent. Beer is almost no different. Barely any noticeable raspberry flavors going on and extremely thin wheat. Didnít make it through this one, not because it was offensive, just couldnít be bothere3d finishing it. Thanks to tjthresh for the bottle.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a bottle. The body was dark ornage with a peach colored tint. The bright white head set off the appearance. The aroma was raspberries with some hay and a little soap. The taste had some light hay along with a hint of raspberry. This flowery beer was decent for a fruit wheat.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
In the bottle. Thanks to Darrel M. Pours a pinkish white gold color with a bright white head. Has a strong raspberry aroma. Thin body. Flower water flavor. Very crisp finish. Low hop bitterness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a bottled on date, Mar/15/2006 and a sort blurb on the neck label.
Poured an unfiltered pinkish apricot orange with a foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing.
Had a nose of wheat malts, clove and dry raspberry powder, like ones you scoop into milk.
Fizzy carbonation, not what I personally want in a hefe weizen, and a softly crisp, smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Bland and extract tasting, dry wheat malts, a light, largely tasteless, spicy hoppiness, a mild clove yeastiness, a tart, dry raspberries, not juicy, but dry, and a dry yeasty and wheat malty finish, average drinkability at best.
I had this at the Bottleworks in the late spring, and I remember this being much better from the tap, I wasnít too impressed with this from the bottle.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Looks like tomato beer. White head that does not last. No real aroma to speak of which is the same for the flavor as well. The mouth feel is thin and water. It seems like they spent all there money on food coloring instead of spending it on quality ingredients.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
looks like tomato & orange juice mixed. chemical raspberry nose. this is bad, uh oh, medicinal herb and old raspberry taste. the herbal grass hops just make it worse, overly bitter artificial tasting. it tastes how someone who had never tasted raspberries would imagine them to taste if they were described to them by a retarded person . wet wool finish.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured into a hefeweizen glass, this actually looked inviting, a hazy whitish straw body with a faint pink cast topped by a tall white head. But the aroma was a turn-off - raspberry candy, way too sweet. The flavor improved when the fruitiness receded, leaving you with a mild American wheat with a light fruit tartness to it. That being said, one is my lifetime limit.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not a great beer. Although I noticed that this tasted almost IDENTICAL to Abitaís Purple Haze. The raspberry flavor was weak but the hefe flavors were stifled and skunked. possibly an old bottle, but still a disappointment since the checkout girl at friar tucks recommended it. wonít be listening to her again....
