Not very impressive. Pale amber with some reddish highlights. Light aroma of wheat and raspberry. Somewhat watery palate. The flavor is only slightly better than the aroma. Malty and wheat smoothness with some artificial raspberry up front leads to a somewhat bitter finish. Fairly refreshing, but nothing too exciting.

Good raspberry wheat. Not to sweet. I could drink several of these. Recommended.

This beer, although a raspberry beer, pours a clody pinkish orange color, which is unappealing, with a medium white head that fades quickly. The aroma is strongly reminiscent of yeast and strawberry wafers (oddly enough), and the flavor is slightly sour and slightly sweet. The palate is more appealing than the flavor, though, due to the medium-light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and abrupt finish. Overall, this beer is lackluster with not enough raspberry in it.

On tap @ Schlafly. Hazed pink pour with a white head. Raspberry jam, some grass, and a hint of lemon. Slightly seltzery. Flavor is sweet raspberry syrup, bread dough, and jam. A bit of water/seltzer, grass, and lemon. Mild bitterness on the finish.

I was expecting more from the smell. Had a sour, yeasty aroma with no hint of raspberries. It did smell a hefeweizen, definitely not like a fruit beer. It is good looking - cloudy medium golden color with an off-white smallish head. Tastes sour, almost stale with a real fake hint of raspberry at the end. Palate is virtually non-existent. Not a good offering from Schlafly, which kills me to say because I like them so much.

Bottle shared at RBSG. Pours a golden-red color with white head. Raspberry, wheat, sweet aromas. Eh, alright for fruit beer.

American craft brewers use to have an alarming habit of calling every wheat beer a hefeweizen no matter what yeast they used. Thankfully, they got over this in time but Schlafly apparently didn’t get that memo. This is just a regular American wheat beer w/ some raspberry in it. It is a reddish orange color and slightly cloudy. It has a mild, almost non-existent nose. This is slightly sweet which brings out a bit of berries but whatever this brings to the table is swept away by some harsh bitterness in the finish. A lot of times beers like this spend a lot of time gathering dust which explains their badness but this was sampled fresh at the brewery and still doesn’t really offer anything worth while.

Pour at the RBsG 2014 Schlafly Brunch (Maplewood, MO). Pours a hazy orange gentle berry tinged body with frothy whitish head atop, stays as a nice frothy layer, sits atop and laces ok. Bubbly carbonation. Aromas are a bit seedy, raspberry pulp and bready malt. Some straw, gentle citrus and mellow bready malts. Some flaked wheat, a bit earthy with lwmon, some nice raspberry on the nose, fresh and genuine. Initial is a bit fuzzy, llighter end of the fold with some flaked wheat, mellow bitterness shows some lemon, gentle earthiness and grain. Middle is a bit dry, gentle raspberry skin and lemon hits the with some flaked wheat, touches of straw. Backend is dry, a btit yeasty. Refreshing. The raspberry is gentle in the body with.a more dry, crisp finish, a bit bitter. Not bad
