COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA is brewed with 100% Australian hops. The Tasmanian hop, Galaxy, is a strong, aromatic variety that is different from traditional strains of the Pacific Northwest. Our brewers developed a recipe that showcases the hop’s unique flavors of citrus and pineapple.

Wow. I've had a lot of schlafly beers over the years but this one certainly ranks near the top. Pours a clear golden with a thin white he'd that persists. Lots of one and some citrus on the nose. Flavor is pine and some bitterness. Crisp and Clem. Medium bodied. This is a really nice beer.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Virginia Beach, VA (bottled October 14, 2013). Golden orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of tangerine, fresh cut grass, and faint grapefruit. Taste is easily quaffable with juicy tangerine and pineapple, pine needles, and bitter grapefruit rind. Because the flavor is more juicy than bitter any lingering bitterness is minimal. A great, albeit balanced, IPA.

Pours a light golden color with a bright citrus aroma. Quite smooth with an adequate amount of carbonation. Drinks smooth with a slightly bitter aftertaste. A wonderful change of pace when looking for a different IPA beer.

Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a small head. The aroma is excellent. Citrus and tropical fruits along with some pine. The flavor has a sweet start followed by a nice hop bitterness. A bit peppery with the fruits coming through. The finish is crisp and clean.

*12 oz. bottle* Look: Sunset orange body, 1 finger white head. Smell: Very citrus (Oranges, lemon peel), toasted cracker sweetness, bit of mango and a touch of tropical flowers. Taste: Mango, oranges, grapefruit, flowers, earthy leafiness, papaya, very solid malt backbone, semi dry mild bitter finish. Feel: Medium smooth body, mediocre carbonation. Overall: This is solid and also very tasty. I’m glad I tried this ale. This is balanced and enough hop flavor that it lands on what could be DIPA status. The bitter factor isn’t offensive. A nice stepping stone in quality IPAs. If you like exotic fruits/flower flavors in your beer, this is a go to. This beer is recommended.

Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Clear straw color with a thick white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of oniony hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle from Beer Run. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is bright pineapple smoothie. Nice and summery. Some honeyed bread. Moderate citrus punch, dirt. The taste is quite sweet. Some caramelized pineapple. Golden pear. Syrup. Dirty hop bitterness on the bitter finish. Medium body, slightly oily. Moderate carbonation. Solid.
