3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Bottled 2012-12-13 so, eh, old. Pours a clear light golden with a fine white head that leaves some intense lacing. Aroma is really nice with mangoes and other tropical fruits dominating. Taste is sweet but not too much with a nice medium level of bitterness. Flavors are light caramel, perfume and flowers. Mouthfeel is nice and oily, body is light and refreshing. Overall a nice one and one that I would like to have as fresh as possible.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2013 Une IPA obtenue via Biéropholie.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is hazy golden/light orange with white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is piney, citrusy, some malts. Taste is very piney, some citrus, lighht caramel and a some sweet malts (without being too sweet), finish is semi-dry with a medium bitterness. Medium body and medium carb. This one was bottled in december but i can say that its still better than lots of ipas out there. Sure it is past its prime but you can definitly tell that it must be really good fresh. Now need to find fresher ones..

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (12 oz). Slightly hazy bright golden with a medium easy to revive white head and good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, malt, pine and dank hops. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with citrus, malt/caramel, pine, onion and light alcohol. Medium body. Moderately dry. Moderate carbonation. This is a good IPA, unfortunately the aromatic hops have faded a bit in this one. Thirst quenching.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Backlogged rating from bottle: Pours a deep clean golden hue with a lasting fluffy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of mango, grapefruit, pine, resiny, onion, and catty esters along with some pale biscuity and slight caramel malts. The taste is hop forward but only a bit, sharp aggressive bitterness and fruity overtones layered over a bed of grains. Some dankness occurs as it warms as does some hop spice notes. The mouth feel is biting at first but smooth overall, a tad metallic. I like this enough to have no issue finishing off the sixer minus the one bottle I sent to Hopscotch.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is virtually bursting with juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with busy carbonation. The bittersweet flavor is spicy – clove – with a medley of citrus rinds and lightly-roasted grains. Crisp, perfectly-balance, semi-dry finish. Bottle generously provided by BBB63!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of the better beers by Schafly. I really wanted to hate it, since most of their beer is so ehh, but this was pretty damn good. Worth picking up.
