Schlafly Tasmanian IPA is brewed with 100% Australian hops. The Tasmanian hop, Galaxy, is a strong, aromatic variety that is different from traditional strains of the Pacific Northwest. Our brewers developed a recipe that showcases the hop’s unique flavors of citrus and pineapple.

Bottle pour. Bright yellow with a thin white head. Big aroma of citrus and pineapple - the best part of this beer. Taste is hoppy with a light bitterness that lingers through the finish like grapefruit. Some sweetness but mostly gently bitter. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel.

This is a great beer that schlafly seems to know their way around. Had in cellar since October.. Aged well. Nice and pineapple ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance is light golden, cloudy, and has a medium white cap that dissipated quickly. Aroma is intense citrus and grass, more so orange, apricot, and lemongrass. Taste is sweet malt and citrus that gives way to an intense hop bite and grapefruit like tartness. Mouthfeel is light, well carbonated, and very dry. Finishes with a lingering bitterness and distinct citrus orange/grapefruit taste and acidic tartness

Wonderful nose of hops. Citrus nose and finish with a nice sweet flavor which after reading would be the pineapple. Light gold color like a pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear gold body under a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is nicely hoppy, very citrusy and fruity with a minimal malt influence. This aroma is all about the hops. The flavor is really juicy and fruity up front, but there’s still a fairly sufficient amount of bitterness as well. Nice lingering hoppiness on the finish. Fairly light, but decently dry and doughy malt backbone. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice effort at a single hop IPA.

First time trying the T IPA. Poured smooth and a smoother on the palate compared to your typical IPA. Notes of citrus and pineapple.

12oz bottle thanks to JohnGonk! Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy white head. Strong tropical aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and pine. Taste is also full of sweet and bitter tropical fruit. Pineapple, passion fruit, citrus skins, pine, and faint caramel malt. Awesome stuff!

A very unique IPA; that said I must not be a big fan of Australian hops, because the flavor is a tad too fruity for me. This doesn't change the fact that it's a well crafted and enjoyable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle poured into snifter. Clear and pale yellow with a soft white head. Smells of citrusy lemon, mango and pine. Acidic lemon on the tongue up front, balanced by a smooth mango and pineapple taste in the finish. Not even a trace of the slightly over 7% alcohol. A true work of art. Wish I had this one on the beach.
