COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA is brewed with 100% Australian hops. The Tasmanian hop, Galaxy, is a strong, aromatic variety that is different from traditional strains of the Pacific Northwest. Our brewers developed a recipe that showcases the hopís unique flavors of citrus and pineapple.

Pint on tap. Hazy pale yellow with a half inch of meringue. Nose of spicy floral grapefruit and resin. Taste is the same with some light notes of green herb, honeycomb and toast. Light body is super dry and has medium-high carbonation. Typical unbalanced two-note American IPA hop blast, but tastes of quality ingredients and is a pretty decent session ale.

Bottle. Neon bright hazy yellow with a one finger fluffy head. Huge pineapple and orange aroma. The taste follows closely with juicy sweetness and tropical fruit. Light body, average carb, and a very clean finish with a perfect amount of sweet hop resin. Overall, this is like fresh pineapple juice beer. I love it.

Pours a clear yellow on tap at horse and hound. Sweet hoppy aroma. Excellent galactic flavor!!! This is a great beer especially for a galaxy hophead like myself.

Lots of bottles from Diebergs. Smells like San Diego. Cloudy and yellow. Crisp taste. Dank, but not as dank as I expected from the smell. Which is good. Nice watery palate. This could be from San Diego. This must be the first great beer from St. Louis. Go Cards! Woo!

A light hazy yellowish orange color. Smells of dank hops, tropical flavors, pineapple, lemon, orange. Tropical flavors come out very nicely in the taste, lot of pineapple and orange with the slightly dank hop bitter, a cracker like malt at the end with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled 9/25/2014. Semi-clear golden orange with tiny bits of floating sediment throughout. Aromas of orange/tangerine citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, some floral notes. Tastes of citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes, some stone fruit. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. One of my top IPAs and my favorite IPA from Schlafly.

Bottle thanks to Sparty26. Hazy yellow with a white head. Huge resinous hop aroma. Bold and clean.

This beer has hops and the nose knows. The brew has a light gold amber hue just thick enough to not be sour. Taste is a hop loving IPA drinkers dream. The hops are known as "Galaxy Hops" a Schlafly rep informed me about 2 years ago. That has to be true because th e taste is out of this world. The mouth feel is a just slightly over carbonated for me but it not anything to be angry about. This beer is an IPA loverís dream. #KUDOS #SCHLAFLY

Tap at Heavy Riff. This beer is no joke. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a big fluffy white head. Grapefruit explosion on the aroma with maybe a hint of yeast/Brett? Smooth citrusy deliciousness on taste. Easy drinking, not too harsh on the tongue. Wonderful example of the style.

Great seasonal IPA with tons of citrus on the nose. It has just citrusy resin hop crispness that shines with tropical fruits like papaya. I pay more in Virginia for it because itís gone by the time I visit the Midwest for Christmas. Great and different IPA.

Good hoppy aroma, but almost sour smelling. Initial flavor was very sour hop. previous years the hops tasted grapefruity this year more orangey. Good stuff and definitely one heck of an accomplished brew for Schlafly.
