4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 elgiacomo (734) - Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA - JAN 20, 201312oz bottled Dec 13 2012. Served at around 40-45F.
Pours semi-hazy yellow/gold with a one finger white head that leaves lots of spots of lacing and maintains a very good cap.
Aroma is nice lemon citrus, pineapple, somewhat grassy and floral, biscuit, doughy malt. Very good strength.
Flavor is lemon citrus, pineapple, grassy, floral hops, grapefruit rind, tropical fruit, malt is light and unobtrusive, cracker, bread, biscuit. Minimal sweetness, very good bitterness, some alcohol on the finish. Very dry.
Mouthfeel is light/medium bodied, good carbonation.
Wow, this is some awesome stuff! Very hoppy, unbalanced, just the way I like it. Love pineapple in my IPAs and this delivers. Reminds me a bit of a baby Founders Double Trouble.

Light color, decent IPA. Nice summer beer with a grapefruit and floral accent.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5411) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Backlogged rating from bottle: Pours a deep clean golden hue with a lasting fluffy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of mango, grapefruit, pine, resiny, onion, and catty esters along with some pale biscuity and slight caramel malts. The taste is hop forward but only a bit, sharp aggressive bitterness and fruity overtones layered over a bed of grains. Some dankness occurs as it warms as does some hop spice notes. The mouth feel is biting at first but smooth overall, a tad metallic. I like this enough to have no issue finishing off the sixer minus the one bottle I sent to Hopscotch.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hopscotch (8217) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle... Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is virtually bursting with juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with busy carbonation. The bittersweet flavor is spicy – clove – with a medley of citrus rinds and lightly-roasted grains. Crisp, perfectly-balance, semi-dry finish. Bottle generously provided by BBB63!
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 AndyReynolds (718) - Wilder, Kentucky, USA - APR 22, 2013
One of the better beers by Schafly. I really wanted to hate it, since most of their beer is so ehh, but this was pretty damn good. Worth picking up.

Aroma is grape-y and grassy. Reminds me of Toppling Goliath IPAs-both in expression of hops and the clean, wheaty malt profile.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 oneeighthcuban (97) - - APR 16, 2013
Very light in color for an ipa. Smells very floral and citrusy. There are many ipa's I would drink before this one, but it was very drinkable with a nice bitter finish.

Bottle @ home. Pours lightly hazy orange with a large, frothy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops with mango, peach and pear esters with cracker and biscuit malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness with light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 AZBennett (88) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - APR 1, 2013
Pours lighter than I had imagined it would a yellowish gold hue. Aroma is the only area that lacks as it wafts light hop (I assume Nelson Sauvin which is light in the other beers I have sampled that feature it). However the flavor is big and very, very balanced with focused hop profile that is slightly tropical and citrusy while being lightly grassy at the same time. The mouthfeel is just a tad light for my tastes but I won’t dock it points for that. Overall this is a great beer very drinkable, in fact on the the most easy drinking of this style I have every had.

Hazy mustard pour with fair white head. Wow! what a nose! Sweet and fruity mango nose and flavor. Big pineapple and mango kick. Really awesome. The bitterness was a bit over the top on the finish, and ruined the balance that it had. But this is a damn good ipa! I’d put it on the level of hopslam or nugget nectar.
