Bottle pour. Bright yellow with a thin white head. Big aroma of citrus and pineapple - the best part of this beer. Taste is hoppy with a light bitterness that lingers through the finish like grapefruit. Some sweetness but mostly gently bitter. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel.

Lots of bottles from Diebergs. Smells like San Diego. Cloudy and yellow. Crisp taste. Dank, but not as dank as I expected from the smell. Which is good. Nice watery palate. This could be from San Diego. This must be the first great beer from St. Louis. Go Cards! Woo!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A light hazy yellowish orange color. Smells of dank hops, tropical flavors, pineapple, lemon, orange. Tropical flavors come out very nicely in the taste, lot of pineapple and orange with the slightly dank hop bitter, a cracker like malt at the end with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and drinkable.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled 9/25/2014. Semi-clear golden orange with tiny bits of floating sediment throughout. Aromas of orange/tangerine citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, some floral notes. Tastes of citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes, some stone fruit. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. One of my top IPAs and my favorite IPA from Schlafly.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This beer has hops and the nose knows. The brew has a light gold amber hue just thick enough to not be sour. Taste is a hop loving IPA drinkers dream. The hops are known as "Galaxy Hops" a Schlafly rep informed me about 2 years ago. That has to be true because th e taste is out of this world. The mouth feel is a just slightly over carbonated for me but it not anything to be angry about. This beer is an IPA lover’s dream. #KUDOS #SCHLAFLY

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Heavy Riff. This beer is no joke. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a big fluffy white head. Grapefruit explosion on the aroma with maybe a hint of yeast/Brett? Smooth citrusy deliciousness on taste. Easy drinking, not too harsh on the tongue. Wonderful example of the style.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great seasonal IPA with tons of citrus on the nose. It has just citrusy resin hop crispness that shines with tropical fruits like papaya. I pay more in Virginia for it because it’s gone by the time I visit the Midwest for Christmas. Great and different IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good hoppy aroma, but almost sour smelling. Initial flavor was very sour hop. previous years the hops tasted grapefruity this year more orangey. Good stuff and definitely one heck of an accomplished brew for Schlafly.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-amber color with a two finger foamy white head. The head has a pretty good level of retention, fading over time to leave a great level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The smell is mainly a mix of sweet and hoppy citrus along with some tropical fruit smells. The citrus is of orange and some lemon with the hop being greatest of a grapefruit
smell. Along with the citrus and tropical aromas, there are some notes of a herbal hop as well as some notes of a floral nature.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and biscuit flavor with a good level of some sweeter orange, tropical fruits and a bit of caramel. Along with these flavors there is a nice hop flavor mostly of a grassy nature, but containing a bit of pine as well. As the taste advances the caramel fades, while a bit of lemongrass comes to the tongue. The bready flavors grow stronger and are joined by a little bit of a spice and some light earthy flavors coming to the tongue. In the end a quite smooth and creamy fruit and bready moderately hopped flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the average. The thick and creamy body are great for the moderate hop profile allowing all those wonderful hop flavors to really be sensed by the tongue. The average carbonation keeps it very refreshing and in combination with the very smooth body, this one is dangerously easy to drink.
Overall – This is a super flavorful, smooth and very easy drinking moderately hopped IPA. A very balanced beer with a great blend of maltiness, sweet and clean tasting hops. Very nice!!

Loads of pineapple on the nose to match the yellow hue and foamy white head.
Medium heavy mouthfeel with light bitterness and lots of citrus, mostly pineapple but with a bit of other citrus fruits. Light carbonation leaves the mouth a bit too unbalanced with some sweetness to aid.
Low malts may strengthen the citrus hop notes, but leave this brew wanting some help to balance. Still interesting and a pretty solid show from this St Louis brewer.
