Tastes like milk. Dark black. Solid vanilla. This should be served to kids instead of chocolate milk.

Keg @ Meridian Pint. Deep brown with a Small head. Nose is strongly sweet, similar to the original. Plenty of milk chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Taste is similar. Malteasers, milk chocolate. Vanilla. Light spice. Light body, soft carb. Ok.

Draft at Meridian Pint. Clear deep maroon color, tan head with good retention and lacing. Nice vanilla aroma with espresso and dark cocoa. Taste is big rich vanilla. Tasty.

Black, decent tan head. Smells like a Milk Dud, or maybe a YooHoo, with a lot of milk chocolate character. Flavor is a lot of milk chocolate, too, with a good dose of vanilla. Hints of coffee creep in as it warms.

February 13, 2013 - on tap at Royale. Dark brown pour with some head. Vanilla, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and lactose in aroma and taste. Medium body and not as smooth as I was expecting.

From notes. Had on tap at Schlafly Taproom. Was about halfway between a vanilla milkshake and a great shot of vanilla vodka, but without the alcohol. Aroma was sweet and roasty, with milk chocolate and vanilla notes. Taste follows but the vanilla was more pronounced but not overblown. Chocolate notes as well. Slick and sweet, very true to style. I doubt many will ever have this one, but the ones that do are quite lucky as it’s very tasty.

Sampled at HitC. This smelled really sweet and lactic. The flavor is less o of both. Bitterness is very soft. Nice.

Tasted at the 1st annual Urban Chestnut - Wolpertinger beer festival in St. Louis, MO, USA from tap into beer boot sampler. Poured a mostly clear dark brown color with creamy, aromatic beige foam and some lace. Smooth, creamy, lots of residual sweetness from lactose and grains, loads of vanilla. Low hops, low carbonation. Medium body, syrupy and chewy. Overall impression was chocolate milk. Too sweet and vanilla-y for me, but unique and well-crafted nonetheless.
