3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 phaleslu (3182) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 20, 2010
Draft sample at Hop in the City 2010. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of Munich malts, caramel, toast, nuts, and peppery hops. Flavor follows suit for the most part, and the commercial description of a light, malty Oktoberfest is exactly what I’d say about it. Light-medium bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Sessionable.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JoeinEscazú (1120) - San Jose, COSTA RICA - SEP 7, 2010
Reddish-orange-amber with sweet biscuit nose... cookies with notes of orange zest. Moderately sweet malty taste, lightly bitter, with that zesty note. Could be drier and a touch hoppier, but it gets the point across.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ryan82SM (753) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 10, 2010
Aroma of grapes and light floral hops. Appearance is reddish brown with tan head. Flavor matches the nose with some nuttiness and biscuit. Palate is lively and foamy. Not wild about the style, but alright.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gregis (1250) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - APR 25, 2008
Pours a crystal clear light copper with a thin off-white head. The nose is a muted but pleasant bready malt with a light floral hop note in support. The palate is light+bodied and thin with a moderately dry finish. The flavor is of slightly sweet, bready malt ending with a light touch of bittering hops. A nice example of the style.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 vyvvy (2798) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - APR 19, 2008
Pours light copper with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet caramel that is very clean with good toast and hazelnut traits. The body is clean, crisp and light with sharp carbonation. The taste is spot on with the aroma along with some spice showing up on the finish. This is quite good for the style.

On tap at the Tap Room, bright amber-orang color, with a small white head, toasted, faint caramelized malt nose, with a biscuity dough accent, some floral hop orangey, citrusy aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, toasty, caramel malt, zesty, orange hop fruity character, with some citrus flowery hop bitter accents, leading towards a malty, hop citrusy, dry finish.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strykzone (2906) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2008
Medium brown color with a nice white head. Plenty of hop and some unroasted barley. A bit of hop as well. A light Octoberfest? Well, maybe without all the spices. This one is more straightforward. Enjoyable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thegreenrooster (2438) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 8, 2008
Pour is a brown with a foamy white head. Aroma is a nice dose of caramel malts. Flavor is decent with some of the malts and enough hop character to keep this lively. A decent enough beer.
