3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, Servus Stefan ! Deep golden to light amber coloured, a bit unclear, with a lacy yellowish head. Sweetish-grainy nose, a bit toasty with a caramelly touch. Moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied. Solid grainy-bitter finish. Not a very aromatic, but a very barley-accented brew, decent..............

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. Clear orangey yellow, large white head. Very fruity nose with hints of orange and lemon. Light-fotted ale with lots of orange and citrus fruit and a solid malty base. Good portion of romatic hops in the background. If tased blindly I would have guessed whis was an English ale, but in fact it is a very pleasant surprise from Austria! Well done - a fascinating fruity and chewy brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle@Home. Caramel malts and cookies aroma. Light amber color, beige head, good lace. Malty, light bitter, light herbal, hints of cookie in the flavor as well. Nice flavors, nice balance, not exceptional though.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle. Pours a perfect orangey amber with a small head. The aroma is very light and floral with vanilla, malt and hops evident. The flavour is sweet and malty with lots of fruit - melon and peach in particular. The palate is very smooth with the alcohol completely hidden. Overall an excellent beer.

on tap at berlinerbierfest06. took ages to pour as the stall was just getting set up. amber, quite warm, nutty aroma, some ale character - not as clean as most of the other beers on show, some composty fruit, a bit messy

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught, 5.7%. Cloudy, a little murky. Small head. A bit flat, probably due to the way it was poured. The flavour is sweet and fruity. Aftertaste has some sewage.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had this beer several times during the last year and there seem to be some differences from batch to batch. The most recent sample had a nice head, was very fruity (melon? rose hips?) and rather bitter with a dry finish that also featured some cocoa like notes.
