COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlappeseppel Special is brewed with special malts. These malts already contain caramelized sugar. About 60 % of the quality of this beer can be traced back to this harmonic flavour. The result is an amber-coloured, full-bodied, balanced beer.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow-amber beer with medium head that goes quickly. Nose is hopy, aroma is sweet, malty, some metallic and carared maly notes, medium hops bitterness which is ling and dry at the finish. Pleasant beer, nice malty aftertaste too.

Bottled, thanks bolagshataren. Clear golden, faint head. Offputting aroma of stale butter, boiled peas and vomit. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Fairly low bitterness. The compost heap/vomit flavours never lets go, making it absolutely untolerable.

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - translucid amber colour and with no head retention; aroma of chewy malts and toffee; medium- to full-bodied, sitcky and fairly carbonated, some sweetness and a tart caramleish aftertaste

suurjuust (1101) - ESTONIA - DEC 21, 2010
Clear pale amber with a tan head. Malty aroma with some yeast and bread notes, caramel in the background. The taste begins sweet, malty, with toffee notes, and ends dry with vague hops. Soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Easy to drink, but a bit odd.

Bierkrug (2133) - - NOV 26, 2010
330 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Is a golden, hazy, minimal head, appearance. Aroma is very malty, rasin, and dough. Taste is rather bland but has some nice sweetness to it. The palate ends a bit sour bitter. This beer is not well balanced and is a bit strange.

500ml Bottle (Õllesummer 2010, Tallinn) - shared with Mirjukka - thanks!
6 Decent malty aroma, a little dusty and dry
3 Browny orange, healthy white [lt]ight head.
5 Well, it’s a beer, but there are some quite unwanted chemical plasticky spikes, and it’s papery too. 2 Pleasant carbonation, and a reasonably full body. HOwever, the papery finish is blessedly short. 9 Not necessarily killer flaws, but way to many "not what I want in beer" buttons.

Sampled at the richmond beer dig spring 2010. Pours a clear pale yellow. Mildly bitter, with a good deal of butter, lemon, and corn. Some noble pils hopping. meh.

Bottle@Home. I’m not sure what to think of this beer. It’s way to sweet for a lager but it’s not unpleasant. It’s a little nutty and maybe even some licorice strangely enough. Lot’s of malts for sure. Hmmm...
