COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlappeseppel Special is brewed with special malts. These malts already contain caramelized sugar. About 60 % of the quality of this beer can be traced back to this harmonic flavour. The result is an amber-coloured, full-bodied, balanced beer.

500ml Bottle (Õllesummer 2010, Tallinn) - shared with Mirjukka - thanks!
6 Decent malty aroma, a little dusty and dry
3 Browny orange, healthy white [lt]ight head.
5 Well, it’s a beer, but there are some quite unwanted chemical plasticky spikes, and it’s papery too. 2 Pleasant carbonation, and a reasonably full body. HOwever, the papery finish is blessedly short. 9 Not necessarily killer flaws, but way to many "not what I want in beer" buttons.

Sampled at the richmond beer dig spring 2010. Pours a clear pale yellow. Mildly bitter, with a good deal of butter, lemon, and corn. Some noble pils hopping. meh.

Bottle@Home. I’m not sure what to think of this beer. It’s way to sweet for a lager but it’s not unpleasant. It’s a little nutty and maybe even some licorice strangely enough. Lot’s of malts for sure. Hmmm...

It is hazy, warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread and light fruit. The flavour has a light, soft sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, light fruit and the finish is dry. It is a smooth/soft and pleasant beer, very easy to drink.

Swing-Top Bottle 33cl. Pours a clear red-golden brew with small white big bubbled head. Smooth malty in the beginning, subtle dry hoppy nose in the finish. Overall nothing spectacular, broad pasteurized taste? A not must-have.
