Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, but with an acidic edge, that makes the finish dry. Thanks Papsoe for sharing and Timo for bringing it to Denmark.

Bottled (BB 10/2009).
Tnx Timo A. Clear amber color, steady creamy off-white head, some lace. Brown sugar, malts, grassy, a bit ashy, smokey nose. Toffeish, woody, quite sweet flavor. Brown toasted sugar too. Interesting that another bottle in this session was full of diacetyl, even it was from same batch.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Bright pale amber color. Sweet, nutty, caramelly and slightly fruity aroma. Sweetish, malty, caramelly and nutty flavor. Slightly metallic finish. Boring, like filtered landbiers often are.

Bottle (bought at the brewery): Pours brown with a thin, firm, lacing head, hazy; very shy malty nose, traces of milk-chocolate with sourish overtones; very slight, a bit sweetish-malty taste; low carbonated and light bodied; sourish/skunky aftertaste. NO GOOD ! Possibly infected; ’cause this skunky-sourish taste is very unusual for a rural franconian brewery. It’s a pity.........
