(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy and doughy malty aroma with herbal and grassy hops in the background. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty base with slightly grainy notes and a stronger hoppy accent towards the sweet-bitter finish. A decent Helles. 11.XI.12

Bottle at the Brauereigasthof: Pale golden, mid-sized loose white head, light to moderate fruity and pale-malty nose with a delicate flowery hoppy aroma; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering hoppy-pale-malty finish. O.K., but not very "franconian"....

Golden color, slightly hazy. Citrus aroma. Hoppy flavor with grapefruit, medium bodied. There is a malt character present, but hops and citrus fruit dominate. Hoppy aftertaste with a hint of blackcurrant. Not available all year, it’s a shame for the inhabitants of Itzgrund!
