330ml brown bottle out of the Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Gold pour, light haze. White head on top, slightly creamy looking, leaving a thin layer throughout the glass. Light rings of foam in the glass. Malty nose, bread, grain, trace caramel. Taste has grains, bread crust, grass. Finishes with bright grass notes, quick bitterness, bit of bread lingering. Average body and carbonation. Decent oktoberfest.

Advent Calendar #10. Ok, no big deal. Not what I was expecting from a Marzen -- none of that toasty caramel stuff -- but not really flawed either, just boring. Crisp, very little finish. Central European hops. Just a standard lager.

(33cl bottle) 2012 Advent Calendar. Pours a thin white foamy head atop a clear uncarbonated gold body. Nose is mildly slunky. Any Munich malt here? This has no beadiness. Bland. --- reviewed on RateBeer.com

Bottle, Dec. 10th Beer Advent Calendar. So a Marzen huh? Obviously no Munich malt in this one :(... Medium golden, average white head, no lace. Aroma and flavour is clean grains, crisp, with a lightly bitter finish. Maybe a light lemon peel note, but this came out only after I started eating my chicken. A solid lager, but I guess I just have a preference for darker, maltier marzens.

Light gold pour. Aroma is cereals, spice, pear, maybe a little orange peel. Light and crisp. Flavour is light malt, a little bit of hop, apple and spice. Nice.

Dec 11 CBAC. For style kind of plain and quiet. As a beer not bad. I would not have pegged it for a Marzen. But it is a nice light grain beer. Yellow with a nice head and very drinkable. More sessionable than seasonal.

Pours a clear golden color with some particles & a small white hat. Aroma is malty, grassy & has some spice like nutmeg. Taste is perdominantly wheat & grass. There are mild bready notes and hints of fruit on the finish.
