3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
One of the best of its style. It always astounds me when people write these like they're supposed to be Hoppy, malty etc. and they complain about the corn sweetness. This is American adjunct lager And as such for that style this is one of the best. superior to Bud, Coors, or Highlife in my opinion.

16 ounce can bought in Chattanooga, TN. Nice color, big white head. Nice flavorful AAL. Can’t get this where I live, but I would buy it if I could.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a decent frothy white head. Aroma is malt, grass, and a little skunk. Taste is crisp but not too watery. I actually detect a slight hop presence. Good carbonation and lively mouth feel. Not too sweet on the finish. This is what I remember sampling from my dad as a kid. A classic!

It’s hilarious how this beer is owned by Pabst and it beats the crap out of PBR, in so many ways. PBR is pathetic compared to Schlitz Gusto.

New England Bucket List Trip Beer #124. Keg at Prohibition Pig Restaurant. Clear golden with a large foamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy hops. The taste is corn, grainy malt, mild floral hops. Thin bodied.

Can @ Parlour, Minneapolis. Light gold pour with a small head. Nose of white bread and sugary apple concentrate. Taste is right in that cheap pale lager wheelhouse. Syrupy sweetness. Apples. Grain. Pretty watery. Light and fizzy. Very active. Cheap stuff. Hilarious to know that there’s cascade in this.

i don’t know about experiencing timesless taste and all that...but this is miles better than the other garbage I’ve tried under the Schlitz label. Still not good, but not horrid.

Wow, this had incredibly high trains for an adjunct pale lager. Not sure why, doesn’t do much for me more than any other pale lager I’ve had. It’s clean and crisp, easy to drink a lot of, minimal flavor or aroma.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- A hint of hay and grass, a much cleaner smell than many other adjunct lagers
Appearance- golden yellow hue, had a one inch white head.
Taste- A much preferred taste for me, I could taste hay, corn and hops
Palate- Pretty heavily carbonated but it works with this beer. I would consider this a full bodied beer on the palate for a lager
Overall- A really good adjunct lager.
