1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear pale straw pour with ample white fading head. Grassy clean corn aroma was neither appealing nor appalling. Flavor was similar, but very sweet, like a euro strong lager, but with a fair amount of alcohol burn. Ultra sweet aftertaste. Not the worst ML, but not that great.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear golden orange color with no head. Very fizzy. Aroma has some corn and alcohol. Flavor has a lot of alcohol and corn and grain. Not great. I would prefer the barrel aged version.

Not too bad. High alcohol taste. Serve very cold. Malty primarily, with a touch of yeast. Smooth, but very unbalanced.

I enjoyed my one sample of this malt liquor (16 oz. can), which I found in Tallahassee, Florida (never seen it in Louisiana). It had a nice aroma, poured well and looked good. For those fond of this genre, it has a very fine taste and smooth mouth feel. It has a strong bite, and is soothing to sip. My overall impression was very favorable. I’d certainly buy it again, if I ever saw it again.

High ABV is the only reason, and a poor one, to drink this beer(?) 24 oz. can ensures a buzz for the down trodden!

After a real bad day, finding that I am reduced to scraping change out my car door, I bought one. Not a lager, but it made the rest of my day go better. If short on funds I would do it again.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Awfully skunky tasting. Strong alcohol and corn aroma. Just a bad recipe really. Not as good as Colt, or as smooth as it claims to be. Body is malted grains and corn. Not overly offensive but leaves a skunk-like aftertaste. Paid 1.37 for a 24 oz. can. Drank it for the buzz, even though beer like this gives beer a bad name!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale golden with a fast fading white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with a bit of corn character as well. There may even be a kiss of earthy hop character. Lightly fruity flavour. It’s not all that bad really. May be one of the better of the high gravity ones.
