Schlitz Red Bull

5th sample from the crap-pak at the annual K-W swillfest. 7.1%abv product contracted by Sleeman. Gold color not much head, fizzy, aroma of pears and grains and some fusel alcohol. Harsh unconditioned character rough to quaff and has alcohol burn.

(bottle - 22 oz) Clear gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is corn, grass, and that’s about it. Flavor is dry and grassy with stale corn and stale hops. Some malt and a slightly metallic finish.

I drank this in the 80’s via 40 oz, bottles.... It did the trick, it tasted better than the blue bull ... i can’t remember the exact taste, but it was good enough for me to drink it till they stopped selling it a few years later?

Can. (Review of past tastings from memory) This is not a beverage that is drunk for it’s taste. Again, I need to figure out how to get the ratings below a .5 so I can rate correctly. Horrible stuff.

this was a rough beer to drink. i was harsh buzzing after it. pretty much any follow beer will taste great after drinking red bull malt

Pours a fizzy crisp golden yellow. Aromas of corn, minor hopping, and not much else. Flavor is bland american lager with almost no hops. Is there any difference between this and Schlitz Bull Ice??? Taste like the same beer to me.

Sweet Lord, here it goes - giant can (710ml) Appearance: Straw yellow with a proud white head, not a lot of visible carbonation. Aroma: sweet-grassy, some definite chemicals. Flavour: Chemical and grass, leaves a distinctive flavour on the tongue, initially I thought it was passable, but second sip made me want to hurl. It’s a pure drain pour.

Dark golden to light bronze color. Moderate somewhat fizzy white head. Actually some lace remaining on the side of the glass. Some light fruit, mild grits and starch. Sweet flavors with alcohol, white grape juice and bavarian kraut. I see I will save the rest for boiling brats.
