Just terrible. The combination of grains, corn, and yang flavor are somehow exactly what I cannot handle. I still cannot tolerate more than two swallows.

Tastes the way a default beer should. Not to hoppy, with nice grainy goodness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the classics I suppose, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to taste good...and it doesn’t. Corn, grass, but mostly water. High carbonation and easily sessionable.

Back in 1902, Schlitz was the biggest beer producer in the WORLD, largely because most of Chicago’s breweries were recently burned down in a citywide fire and Schlitz had quickly taken hold of the market by donating its stuff to the masses. Hey Mr. Stewart, this was the beer that made Milwaukee famous. "When you’re out of Schlitz," as their old marketing slogan goes, "you’re out of beer." I can’t help but think that’s because Schlitz is the last stuff remaining in the fridge. Somehow this stuff tastes way better when consumed out of a tallboy can. The metal and ascetic tastes pair up nicely in a hipster sort of brewing irreverence. Aroma: old funky shoes. Appearance: N/A in a can. Taste: frito-lay-esque brewing synthetic chemicals. Palate: fizzy. Overall: Subpar but usually on special.
