UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 Well, it was either a Coors, a Bud, a Miller, a Pabst , a Hamms or, this one that still tastes like Schlitz, back then where there were these beers. And we had sayings or rhymes that went with each, like, 2 Coors for 2 whores or Schlitz will give ya the shits; ya know, kinda stuff like that. I’m on my 3rd Schlitz now and so far, easy on it. I keep athinkin’ "this is a brew that has a historic depth of taste to it" flavor. A beer that was drank without judgement other than enjoying it.

Again, drank a lot of this in college before developing a real palate. Gold pour with skunked grains on the nose and palate.

Bottle from old backlog notes 07. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. Typical sweet grainy, corn, light grassy aroma of macro pale lagers. Moving on.

Page crystal golden with a bubbly head like cola. Inoffensive pale malt aroma. Inoffensive pale malt and light wheat flavour. Dry, sorta refreshing, very light bitterness. I feared it would be worse, however this is actually ok. Better than BMC, for sure.

Clearish goldn pour, small bright white head. Sour rubbery lager yeast aroma, hint of citrus rind and cream. Average carbonation, thinner but bubbly mouthfeel, dry finish. Taste is grainy and every so slightly sweet, no detectable bitter. Easy tasting decent american lager.

12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn, grains, and malt. Taste of grains and malt. This light bodied brew was the thing in the past.

Had a taste of this at the bar last night - someone was joking about craft beer connoisseur-ship. As I said then, papery taste of garbage with some piss. Yum.

Ever since they brought back the original recipe from the 1960’s I will drink it on occassion. Decent tasting beer. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst. Worth drinking.

I recall buying this since it was so cheap and I’m pretty sure I drank an entire 12pack once and just peed all night and felt bloated.
