This is definitely one of the worst beers in all the land. It has a pale light yellow color with no head whatsoever. The aroma smells of corn and barley that has been tinkled on. The body is light, watery and bland. There is a subtle hint of flavor, with a tiny hint of hops and barley malt toward the back end of the body. But then the finish and aftertaste ruins it all. The mouthfeel is mostly of fizzy and sprtizy bland carbonated water. If you’re in a pinch and need a case of beer for less than $12, this is the one for you. Maybe. Or not.

Aug 17, 2008 12 oz. can courtesy of a 6 pack a friend brought. An interesting macro lager, for sure. Aromas are largely sweet and corn. Well carbonated. No real hop character. Dominated by sweetness, corn, and other adjuncty qualities. Perhaps a hydrating beverage.. I’d have to drink several to get back to you on it. Still, a decent macro lager compared to the rest of the crap out there.

Aug 14, 2008 corn cobs/ wet grain on nose and tasting it was even more offensive, no body, no hops, no flavor except moldy grains , no nothing. beer that made milwaukee famous huh? this is the beer that probably pushed j dalmer over the edge

Aug 13, 2008 Actually has a decent flavor. Corn and sweet with a quick sour after. For a cheap beer this is one of my favorites.

I broke down and got this. Pours a light clear gold, white head. No real aroma, basically the same as other beers in it’s class. Flavor was fairly bland and had hints of cardboard. light body and high carbonation. Overall, it wasn’t bad for what it is but it is just another nasty cheap beer but better then other nasty cheap beers. I finnished the 12 pack and got a headach.....
