gilby (23), Stuttgart, Germany Jul 15, 2005 this is the worst beer ever in my opinion. bad everything, overcarbonated. just another mass produced skunk.
grimreeser (738), Minnesota, USA Oct 5, 2008 Wow, I actually smell some hops! Solid flavor, decent enough to drink. Pale lagers will the new imperial stout, err, I mean sour. Listen to me now, believe me later!! borgination (78), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 28, 2008 I think that this beer was made from the leftovers off all the others beers in the world. It goes down easy but doesnt come out easy. withsteam (3), , Nebraska, USA does not count Sep 27, 2008 I got a 12 pack for under 6 bux. Was a little iffy about as so cheap and no one knew about it. Usually can’t stand cheap beer but this is actually pretty good. From other reviews I am guessing it’s the new 6os blend. Nice and crisp, no nasty after taste. Doesn’t taste watered down. arobe35 (22), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA Sep 7, 2008 I picked up a case of Schlitz by default (nothing else available) after Hurricane Gustav. I must say i’m slightly impressed with the overall drinkability of this brew for the low price ($12.99 for a 24 pack). Comparable in price to Natty, but this beer stands out from its competitors by all means. This may be my new every night drinker. kidmartinek (731), austin, Texas, USA Sep 7, 2008 Pours pale golden yellow with a 1 inch white head that last only a minute. The beer exhibits good bubbling throughout the time it takes you to enjoy it. Aroma is very hoppy and sharp. The flavor is lively, carbonated, and hoppy with a malt finish. It’s an easy beer to drink. It has a lot of flavor for a pale lager. Full bodied too and no adjunct taste present. This original formula make it no wonder this was once one of the best beers in the world. Only thing is, beware, this stuff works, and its not from the malt or the hops. Do you know the secret ingredients to the new Schlitz?
