COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Doppelbock Dunkel has a pleasant full and creamy body, with coffeeish aroma. Nicely warming with toffeelike malty sweetness, balanced by a hoppy-bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Edelweiss. Pours a dark mahogany color with a small grey head. A big malty nutty nose. The flavor is quite pleasant: rich toffee, caramel, coffee, light fruit, cake, a bit of chocolates. Very smooth. Nice. A lot like the powerful Samiclaus.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Look: clear chestnut brown, small beige head. Aroma: malty, sweet, caramelized sugar, some sulfur, a bit of alcohol, some cherry liquor at times. Unfortunately some light boiled vegetables/sauerkraut spoils it all. Taste: malty, might sweet, caramel, light bitterness that barely balances the big malts. A bit os spicy alcohol. Sauerkraut here as well.

from Amstein - pours a clear amber-brown beer under a poor foam left; fairly malty aroma with notes of hazelnuts and cookies; full-bodied and quite sweet; light sticky and with some residual sweetness; very malty aftertaste with tons of caramel and hazelnuts - ok

not crazy about the style, although i like them both seperately, but i gotta say, this was an unexpectedly unique beer. Obviously way heavier on the malt, but it’s pretty pleasant if not great."

Aroma fresco de malte e grama. Um pouco de álcool e cravo. Torrado e caramelo. Creme fino e claro. Líquido bastante turvo e castanho. Álcool bem inserido no sabor. Densa e encorpada. Boa carbonatação. O caramelo é evidente e marcante, dando uma doçura inicial. Retrogosto amargo, alcoolico e prolongado. Café. No final achei ela muito extrema. Difícil de tomar mais que uma.

330ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with small creamy beige head. Aroma is mostly roasted coffee with some chocolate notes. Sweet toffee-like flavor. Touch of bitterness in the finish but still mostly sweet. Somewhat warming as well. I really enjoyed this.
