July 2010. Golden orange with a white head. Caramel and sweet aromas. Malty flavors with hops and caramel. Not my favorite.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 floydian1 (729) - FNQ Australia, AUSTRALIA - APR 12, 2013
330ml bottle as "Birra Magalotti 1845". Bright golden pour with loose white head and scanty lace. Nose is honey sweet malts and faint spicy hops. Taste is similar to the nose with a medium body and carbonation. Rather too sweet for my taste but ok.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 WheatKing (744) - Oak Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 25, 2013
Advent Calendar #16. Golden, no head. A bit of ethanol to the nose and taste, otherwise what you’d expect from a heavy helles, I guess, with slight noble hops, pepper, and DMS. Yeast seemed clean. Finish wasn’t offensive, just a little bitter. My friend said it tasted like a heavy Budweiser.

Bottle from a friend. Smell of corn, honey and sugar. Similar taste with a boozy finish. Tasted like a regular industrial lager but with more ABV. Too thin to carry the flavours.

Bottle, Dec 16th Beer Advent Calendar. Medium golden, clear, with an average foamy white head. Sweet grainy aroma and palate, a little apple, a little metal. Forgettable.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 RumRunner101 (412) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 16, 2012
Golden pour. Aroma is sweet, bready malts, hay, corn. Medium bodied, hight carbonation - quite crisp. Flavour is creamed corn malt. Alcohol is quite noticeable and finishes like a shitty whiskey.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 andrewturba (479) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 16, 2012
Pours a clear yellow with small white head leaving behind a little lace. Aromas consist of sweet crisp pils malt, and alcohol. Flavours I’m getting are pale malt, light sweetness, booze, toast, very light hop presence.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Reimer96 (620) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 16, 2012

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pintbypint (2000) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 16, 2012
330ml brown bottle from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Gold colour, clear. Bright white head, small in size but creamy and tight bubbled. A few spots of lace, but pretty minimal. Nose is malty with a little sweetness. Taste has grains, a little bready sweetness, light grassy hops. A little sweetness in the finish, light grassy bitterness. Alcohol stays well hidden, drinks easily, pretty basic light coloured bock.

Dec 16 CBAC. Now this is an effervescent beer! Supper bubbly maintains a nice restrained constant white head on gold. Pairs well with beef jerky. Very approachable drinkable higher ABV without being malt liquor. Light grain note and hint of alcohol.
