3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle. Pours a very pale clear straw with a nice white head. Smells somewhat skunky, with some grains and hops. Taste is very sweet, wheat flour, yeast, bread, vanilla cake. Finish is light, very fine bitterness, herbal. Light to medium body, smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Average level of carbonation. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
"Das feinherbe pils". .5l bottle served in a tall pilsner glass.
Light Golden color with little visible carbonation in between sips but a flourish of bubbles with each tilt of the glass. The large white head is durable and coats the glass nicely. Near medium body and medium carbonation. Smooth. Not dry.
O: [3.75] A straightforward and very clean pilsner. Although it has a mildly bitter balance, it goes really well with cheese which, for me, made it sometimes taste a bit sweet (?).

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Location/Date:Bottle on November 8th, 2012.
Appearance: Pours a clear gold with some bubbles and faint white head.
Aroma: Aroma of bready malt.
Taste: Light bitterness, some bready malt but not overbearing.
Palate:Light body, faint fizz.
Summary: Taste really passed my expectation of the nose. Often times pilsners have a really poor syrupy stale malty taste. This does not, which I give it credit for. However, it’s still just missing something from being good.

Poured a clear light golden colour with a one-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of malt. taste initally of semi-sweet malt followed by very slight eathy hops. Light body. Smooth slightly sweet finish. Ordinary (more like a lager).

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear light to medium gold with a very thin fizzy, disappearing white head. Light malt and a fruity peachy, toasted and slightly sour. The process of carbonation makes it smell a bit artificial. Medium oily watery body with soft carbonation. Tastes sweet malt toasted and fruity peach but with a slightly harsh hay, metallic grassy finish. Easy to drink but overall boring.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Medicine Hat Beerfest 2012. Plae lemony yellow. Aroma is metallic, very metallic actually. Clean pale malts with light buttering hops and faint metal. Why is this beer so metallic to me? I’ll have to give it another chance (but who’s kidding who-- I probably won’t).

Bottle from SAQ. Pull top, wtf? Pours a clear pale yellow, lots of carbonation. Bubbly head that lingers. Aroma: Hay, grass, slightly fruity. Palate: Thin bodied, but not too watery. Oily. Leaves a film in your mouth. Taste: slightly bitter. Not much flavour here. Maybe good when it is super hot out.
