2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rwgould (306) - Vancouver, British Columbia, - AUG 12, 2012Bottle from SAQ. Pull top, wtf? Pours a clear pale yellow, lots of carbonation. Bubbly head that lingers. Aroma: Hay, grass, slightly fruity. Palate: Thin bodied, but not too watery. Oily. Leaves a film in your mouth. Taste: slightly bitter. Not much flavour here. Maybe good when it is super hot out.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 allmyvinyl (130) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours a clear yellow with short-lived white head. Smells vegetal, like most pils. Some light malt aromas, not much hops. Taste has some sweetness, light bitterness. Oily tongue-coating finish. Good carbonation for the style - not too much. Overall, not a bad beer, but by no means a great one.

Clear with weak head, very refreshing, well rounded malty aroma with scent of hops. Above average pils.

This beer is actually quite good. The hoppiness that this beer has gives it character, from a can bought at a supermarket.

Not too many chemicals but smells of pissy lager. It’s ok, drinkable and a funtop.

June 2010. Bottle. Malty and hoppy aromas with some floral notes. Flavor is the same. Poured golden yellow with a white head. Not a bad beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maekchu (1126) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 12, 2013
Bottle from Asahiya. Nice pils Saaz aroma. Very light and pretty champagne color, crystal clear, not head. Grainy, cookies, a bit of harshness in final. Thin body, but more than many pils. Not bad. I don’t like the green bottle or the weird wire loop on the cap (which broke when I tried to open the bottle).

330ml green bottle. A decent crisp German-style pilsner with a buttery sweet golden malt backbone balanced by a dry hop bitterness that lingers. Sessionable and refreshing. Pours clear bright golden with moderate white head and lacing.

Hot weather excellence. Doesn’t smell like much! Taste is lean too but in hot weather it’s very quenching. Good one
