2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
2008 Bottle - Dark yellow not red, little head...also this is 5.0%, not 7.3...aroma is lager-y, with slightly more peat...flavour is pretty generic with a bit of caramel, bit of grass, finishes nice, but is meh in every way...

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Systembolagets beställningssortiment. 5,0% alcohol.
Like a macro lager in apperance and flavour but with a hint of whisky when it got warmer.
I think a beer needs more flavour on its own to be able to benefit from whiskeytaste

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A smoked? Seriously? Anyway, pours a light straw color with thin white head. Aroma is of uncooked malt and some cereal grains. No smoke though. Taste is a light malt beer with little hops or anything else. A real basic beer that doesn’t belong in this style. Alcohol is well hidden and carbonation is light. Not horrible, but not great.

Very thin and light beer, reddish color with nice head that disappears quickly.

Interesting. I agree 100% with Yalnikim below, except I think it looks quite nice, hence the extra point for appearance, and I thought it quite weighty on the palate, which always gets an extra point from me!
Stu: Kindly stop going through the beer store a few days ahead of me! ;)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted 23/08/2008. 330ml bottle from Beerstore. Hmmm... not bad. Orange gold, disappearing head. Comes across as a slightly old Vienna (a little papery) with a whiff of that citrus that you pick up in the subtle Islays like Bowmore. Fritha likes it. Has potential but is a little oxidised.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle, ABV 5.0%. Clear amber-red colour, large and creamy head. Shy malty nose. Medium-bodied, fruity and malty with very shy whiskey flavours, and some very very shy smoke, nearly not smokey at all. Dry finish, which in combination with the malty middle part gives it a bitter-sweet character. Pleasant to drink.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I expected more about that beer...So. On the lable was shown only 5% ABV alcohol(?). An orange color with a small head. Little smoked liqueric aroma. The taste was avarage, not a unique one with a little whiskey and some sweet malt and yeast. Sweet aftertaste.
