This has a wonderful malt smell....and a good malt flavor. Good sweet beer, tastes underfermented but it works.

clear orange, smoorh white head. Mild aroma, malty. Flavor is herbal, flowery, dry, german hoppy, malty.

Bottled. An amber beer with lazing with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty mild butterish. Toasted malty and light grassy. Bitter and light metallic. Dry and toasted malty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. Pours a clear deep golden with a lacing off-white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, sweet caramellish malt with a metallic touch. Dry finish. Absolutely no traces of whisky. 230212

Light ice tea amber with slight haze. Film for head after heavy handed pour. Big pancake syrup nose over malt. Nose does not travel. Malt body is soft then enters sweet finish. If this is a smoked beer I totally missed the entire desired aspect of it.

O "Whiskky entre as cervejas" não é tão whisky. Apesar disso é uma cerveja leve e maltada, com um sabor bem acolhedor não muito doce nem muito amargo. O fato mesmo é que o whisky passa despercebido pelos paladares, porém é uma cerveja de personalidade.

Appearance: light copper, short off-white head. Aroma: caramel, butterscotch, hint of rye. Taste: as the aroma indicated. Finish: slick, slightly viscous, then the carbonation and a hint of bitterness cleanse the palate. Notes: Something about Schloss Eggenberg beers. Every one I’ve tried I’ve not cared for the palate, and this one was no exception. To me, the palate of their beers consistently detracts: it’s oily, slick, and there’s just something…off.

33cl brown bottle from grocery store in Vienna. Pours a clear deep amber color with plentiful bubbles and fading white head. Medium body with even dry/sweet malty flavor balance. Slight caramel character. A clean and smooth lager with emphasis on the malt rather than hops.
