Poured to a nice pale red color, with some carbonation evident, and an off-white head that lingers through most of the glass, and then reduces to good lacing up and down the glass. Mild aroma of sour fruit with a touch of smokey malt. Taste of more of the dour dark fruit, with alcohol creeping in, but not too strongly, about mid-glass. Finish was dry, but good and long. I liked this much better than othe smoked beer I’ve had, probably because I hardly noticed the smoke.

Clear orange-amber colour with white head. Smoky aroma with funk malt. Good flavour- very malty with alcoholic aftertones. I quite like it.

Bright yellow gold color, with a white head, sweet pale malt, with a note of earthy malt smokiness and graininess, wet hay accent, hint of fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet grainy pale malt character, with a smooth subtle malt peaish smokiness accent, with a wet straw note, leading towards a sweet malty alcoholic warmth and faint hops dryness finish.

Bottle. Dark golden in colour with a small head. Malty and sweet - feels kinda strong and alcoholic. Too high carb for my taste. A slight hint of caramel.

Aroma is sweet caramel malt and earthy peat, but it touches on an unwelcome corn-like aroma at time. Body is a light amber and holds a rapidly diminishing wispy white head. Fore is rather light and has an almost cold water refreshing quality...later some hearty grains and VERY mildly smokey peat follows. The finish is sweet cereal and heavily watered vanilla accented whiskey.

Robe dorée foncée très claire surmontée d’une mouce blanche fugace. Arômes légers de malt et de houblon. Saveurs légères de malt.
