MrManning (1415), London, Ontario, Canada Apr 23, 2008 Bottle-Deep copper with a small white head. Aromas are smokey malts and dark fruits with toffee and dark rye. This is a sweet smoked beer. Its got plenty of smokey caramel flavours with a rye and spice component. Finishes with the sweet aftertaste of clover and honey. I’d say a bit too sweet.
Quack-Duck (1631), Bodensee, Germany Jul 22, 2008 bottle, ABV 5.0%. Clear amber-red colour, large and creamy head. Shy malty nose. Medium-bodied, fruity and malty with very shy whiskey flavours, and some very very shy smoke, nearly not smokey at all. Dry finish, which in combination with the malty middle part gives it a bitter-sweet character. Pleasant to drink. azlondon (461), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Golden brown. Little bit of head. Hint of red.
Aroma: Rather malty, some fruit. Caramel.
Taste: Pretty fruity and sweet. Does have whiskey-like flavour.

Semi-sweet nose with some metallic notes. Flavor has more of the sweet flavor, some light fruit notes and a touch of alcohol. If there was any hint of peated malt, it’s long gone. chmurarz (218), Raciborz, Slask, Poland May 30, 2008 pours golde, nice white head, medium malt aroma and some hop, no spices, no fruit, flav is moderate caramel and hop, mild fruit as weel. quite pleasant aftertaste, medium bodied, yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 33 cL bottle.
