COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The once strongest beer in the world is back ! Brewed only once a year on December 6. Samichlaus is aged for 10 months before bottling. This beer is perhaps the rarest in the world. Samichlaus may be aged for many years to come. Older vintages become more complex with a creamy warming finish. Serve with hardy robust dishes and desserts, particulary with chocolates, or as an after dinner drink by itself. Brewed under the exclusive licence of Feldschlösschen-Hürlimann-Holding, Switzerland.

Dark brown colour. Aroma is sweet with brown sugar, raisins and caramel. There’s some cola-like sweetness along with the dried fruits. It’s very warming but a bit too sweet.

Der Geschmack dann fast Likör-artig, relativ alkoholisch, recht süß.

Bottle from 2012, brown, little head. Extremely sweet, so much that it overpowers everything. The 14% alcool do not shine through.

Nice and boozy. Sweet but balanced. Clear pour with no head. I could drink this once a year as a treat for sure. Will get again.
