Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 8, 2004 A yellow beer with a small white fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet of hemp and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of hemp and a very dry hoppy end. The body is thin and watery. Papsoe (11058), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 19, 2007 (Bottle 533 cl) Comes as "Spirit of Hemp". Clear, golden with a dense, white head leaving some lacework. Weak aroma of malt. Medium-bodied, light notes of malt and some cardboard. This is a typical pale lager with absolutely no traces of the hemp. The finish is dry. Rather disappointing compared to other hemp beers I’ve had that were spicy and fairly interesting. 141206 yespr (7785), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Light grainy and hops aroma. Flavour is mild cornish sweet with a light bitterness into the finish. Ends sweet and mild hoppy. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy May 3, 2004 Clean blond color. Some hop aroma; grass and hay, cleaning product. Sweetish hay taste, very poor. TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Aug 8, 2005 Bottled (BB 09/2005)
Pale yellow, small white head. Quite strong aroma of skunked hops, rubber and smoke. Medium-bodied but mainly tasteless. A bit sweet (like being maize or corn here), some grassy hoppyness in the finish. Quite ordinary low quality pale lager, hemp sounds like a marketing plot.
