Bottle. Normal lager colour, clear. Small white head. Aroma of... alcohol. I see a point in this having a lot of fruity notes, but it’s just not handling the ABV very well.

Pours a nice golden color with a white head that quickly fades. Has a sweet alcohol aroma. Strong alcohol flavor with sweet hints of caramel. Very pleasant.

Orange / golden with a small white foam. Sweet and malty tones. Lots of alcohol with some maltiness. Full body with a bittersweet, metallic finish.

The appearance is light amber with a small fast disappearing baige head. Very strong sweetmalty aroma with notes of honney and grain. The texture is thick and low carbonated. Flavor is quite strong and complex, bears a resemblance to whiskey, but sweeter. Its interesting, but too much alchohol and sweetness for me.

12 oz bottle split w/ Dan. Clear straw color, light carbonation with a small off white head. Aroma: Sweet, grains, sweet pils malt, alcohol. Taste is also sweet grains/ pils malt, with notes of ethanol. medium bodied, overall it tastes like a really strong pils. well made, but didn’t hold my attention very well.

11.2 oz bottle. Aroma was strong alcohol with notes of dried fruits. The flavor was just about the same, with some sweetness in there, but overall it was pretty tough to finish due to the alcohol burn.

A golden doppelbock, very light coloured, with a thin creamy white head. A rather striking neutral alcohol aroma, tequila, with light vinous notes, and fruity esters. In mouth, a sweetish beer, with strong alcohol, light licorice, but none of the fruitiness expected from a doppelbock. Shorter in mouth than expected. Bieropholie import BB07-2007.

The 11.2 ounce bottle poured a clear but somewhat flat light amber colored beverage with a small fizzy head that was almost completely diminishing and left almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma was full of notes of dried dark fruits like prunes and raisins mixed with hints of molasses and honey. The body was medium full with soft carbonation and a silky smooth texture. The flavor starts out with moderate sweetness full of dark fruitiness. It mellows through the long finish ending up just lightly sweet accompanied by a nice alcohol warmth.
