Buena cerveza tomada bien helada. Una apariencia transparente y un sabor dulzón que al principio no es agradable pero que suaviza al tomarla ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A dark yellow beer with a weak and disappering, white head. The nose is rich, sweet fruits, strawberries, some malts. Surprisingly, a pleasant and good aroma. Taste is quite sweet and rich, riped fruits, some malts, hint of strenght of alcohol, herbal like dryness in the end. Full bodied, mild carbonation, slick to drink. Interesting beer, a positive surprise. This doppelbock is filled up with lots of fruits, also the strong sweetness is just fine in this beer. Urbock 23 shows that it’s possible the brew the great beer for this style.

Bottle, courtesy of Fajry, many thanks. Pours clear golden color, white head. Aroma is caramel, malty, hints of fruits. Taste is quite sweet, caramel, alcohol. Bittersweet finish.

0,33 l bottle, pours amber golden, nearly now head and no CO2. Winery nose with a lot of alcohol. Starts more malty, alcoholic, hints of marzipan and brandy. Full body and oily. A little bit burning in the throat. Maybe well crafted but not my favourite style of a Doppelbock.

Heller, leicht alkoholischer Antrunk. Würzig, hell malzig, süß. Das süße Alkoholaroma ist mir zu intensiv, unsüffig, gleichzeitig trocken und zum Ende in Teilen kratzend. Würzig, schwer. 7/8/7/8/11/9

Bottle, 9.6%. Caramelly aroma, a little bready, seems aged. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is peppery and boozy. Also caramelly. OK clean.

Bottle from McTapps - thank you, Sabine! Pours clear golden with small off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt and fruit with booze in the long nose. Sweet flavour of caramel malt with fruity touches. Warming alcohol presence. Sweetish finish. Very boozy but still decent.

Bottle from Cuso - thank you a lot, Imro! Pours out in a clear golden colour with low head and smooth body. Nose of caramel and honey. Taste of warm straw, mild hops, vanilla, caramel and honey. The high ABV is very well hidden, what makes it a nice, smooth Doppelbock. Was quite surprised to enjoy it that much.

Ein erstaunliches Bier. Optisch dünn und golden, dabei von der Textur her beinahe wie Sirup. Viel Pfirsich, ordentlich Alkohol und ein dicker Abgang. Ganz nett.

ABUSEDGOAT (2277) - California, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Clear golden, small head, not much lacing/retention. Aroma is grain, alcohol, somewhat fruity. Medium bodied, much hotter than it needs to be, fairly sweet finish. Mediocre.
