Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Goddamn, this brewery has the ugliest labels! Good thing the beer is half-decent. Clear gold colour with a small head. Aroma is strong, sweet malt and woody alcohol. Flavour is somewhat earthy, with some dry white wine notes, and a quick hit of hops in the finish. Gets a bit sweeter as it warms. Not bad.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, blankboy, GregClow, and Jerc - courtesy of Harry. Dark yellow, small white head, flat. Strong sweet aroma, light malt. Strong syrup taste, lots of stale hops and citrus. Sweet honey taste as well. Harsh alcohol. Cloying and boring.

Bottle. Golden yellow, very small whit ehead. Sweet alcoholic aroma, some malt. Hot alcohol and sweet malt dominated the flavour as well, some sugars. Maybe it was just late in the evening, but this did very little for me.

Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, tupalev - courtesy of yours truly. Poured clear gold with a very small foamy white head. Aroma is sweet and slightly vegetal, a bit of interesting woodiness on warming. Taste is pretty nice - sugary and oaky, off-dry reisling, and there’s alcohol bitterness on the finish - good winter warmer. Mouthfeel is bitter and astringent and a bit syrupy, although thin. I like it, but it’s a bit like a watered down pale port.

I finally had this one after having the damn other one about 5 times. Copper color. The aroma is crazy with lamp oil and toothpaste and some kind of fuel. Mollasses is also very present.

Pale yellow, thin white head. Vinous, spicy, malty nose. Somewhat harsh, citric flavour with a little fruity finish. Some hints of lemon, grape and liquorice. Somewhat sweet.

Aroma straight away reminds me of its 14% big brother, but with added baked beans which puts me off a bit. Taste is sweet and syrupy, alcohol is dominant, and a great warming feeling, but just not my style of beer to sweet and not much else apart from honey.

pour very light. not what you would expect from a bock at all. nice head forms...then vanishes. not much carbonation to keep it there. smells of baked fruits and candy. hints of plums???! in the taste, sweet, honey. very alcoholy in the aftertaste. this will definatly warm yer innards on those nights when the windows rattle from the cold.
