A salzkammerguti Schloss Eggenberg sörfőzde duplabak söre. Valamiért nem voltam meghatódva tőle. Számomra erősen kikandikál az összhatásból az alkohol íze.

Light orange with suspended brown chunks, quick white carbonation, no lasting head. Strong caramel, fruit, alcohol aroma. Taste is big raisins, caramel, brown sugar, and more thinning alcohol.

Bottled sample. Clear gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas of stewed fruit, winegums, booze, white grape skin, and pale malts. Medium bodied, with a fair bit of malt sweetness, more stewed fruit, a bit of earthy hop, and booze. Pretty average stuff, but not really a favorite style of mine.

Tastes like a strong, high quality malt liquor. There is some grape and or brandy flavor and Belgian yeast too. Tingly finish. Interesting stuff.

Clear amber pour, almost no head. Sweet aroma of apple cider and alcohol. Flavor has a light bitterness to it, very grainy taste. Alcohol present fairly strongly in the aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Bottle: Amber pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is very fruity and sweet; strong presence of apple juice/cider. Tastes more malty and fruity into an earthy and floral medley. The fruit drys out a bit, leaving a mess of malt, earth, and floral. At least the mouthful is smooth. Not one of my favorites...

11.2 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a dark golden color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is honey, toasted malts and slight fruity notes. Taste is grainy, with notes of apple and toasted malts. Full bodied.

Apple cider aromas some honey, yeast, over all sweet on the nose. Pours blonde with a thin white head that doesn’t last, no carbonation visible in glass, but the bottle popped so there was pressure. Thick mouthfeel, sweet honey flavors, light fruits, light caramel, alcohol in the finish, barely carbonated.
