330. Pours crystal clear medium amber. Thick, sudsy platinum blonde head. Plenty of white lace up the glass. Big funky nose of old wet leaves and old wet grass. Sour. Watery, slightly fizzy, some biscuit and caramel in there, not much happening at the end other than a biscuity cling. Meh. Meh at best.

Single malt aroma, deep amber, with a finger of white foam. Pronounced malt flavour, full bodied, alcohol is subtle, with some sweetness. Most Impressive!

Crystal clear golden color with creamy off white head. Nice malty aroma. The smell is mostly pleasing grain and breadiness. Full rich malt flavor. I taste sweet malts that create a dark fruitiness. Also a grain malt flavor that competes with the alcohol taste. Well balance beer.

Color is a nice amber with a small white head. Very transparent with tiny bubbles floating around. Aroma is very sweet with a honey and fruity smell to it. Taste carries this apple sweetness with a thick malty taste. Very thick and creamy.

Doesn’t look or smell like a doppel. It’s golden colored. But one sip and you know it’s a doppelbock, though that light Budweiser-esque appearance takes some getting used to. Syrupy and sweet.

330ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of Apples, fruit, slight alcohol, honey, slight wood, and yeast. Poured golden/yellow in color with no head. Hazy. Very sparkling. No lacing. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of fruit, wood, slight resin, slight tar, caramel, malts, slight tobacco, apples, grapes, hops, and yeast. Light to medium body. Lightly sticky, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, fruity, apple and slight wood finish is dry.

Pours totally clear orange color. Fruity aromas predominate: apricot and yellow plum mostly. Palate is slick, with low carbonation. Solid malt backbone with lot of residual sweetness, finishing with a clean hoppy ending.
