It’s unclear yellow-golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is mild with light notes yeast, fruit and wheat. The sweet flavor is a bit thin-bodied with notes of yeast, wheat and fruit, mostly banana. Initially there was a very short-lived sourness, but it was gone pretty quickly. The finish is slightly spicy, slightly!

Bottle (courtesy by Quack-Duck!): Hazy, golden, rapidly vanishing - colour not detectable, because so quickly collapsing - head; mineralic grainy nose with a sourish-wheaty touch; moderate sourish flavour, light bodied; faint sourish-wheaty finish with cloves and nutmeg. Not convincing........

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2009
(bottle) Hazy, dark golden colour with a diminishing, slightly off-white frothy head. Discreet aroma of wheat-malt, a whiff of banana and nutmeg. Slighty sourish flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Wheaty and restrained fruity taste with phenolic spice of cloves and nutmeg. Unconvincing wheat (14.V.09).

Quack-Duck (8065) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2009
bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy yellow, mid-sized head. Aroma of malt and banana. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with a wheaty-yeasty character and nice fruity notes (banana, peach). Well-balanced Hefeweizen.

Draft at the brewpub. Nose of banana and cloves with a light sweetness besides. Hazy yellow body with a medium sized white head. Yeasty and quite sweet flavor.
