MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 9, 2007 (bottle) Almost clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized, tanned foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with candied fruits and a touch of alcohol. Sweet flavour, quite full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel and dried fruits; sweet malt-accented finish with a fruity touch and a warming alcoholic note. A bit unclean, but still okay. pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Mar 7, 2007 Bottle (Thanks to joss): Reddish-amber coloured, quite firm yellowish head; estery-fruity, slightly roast-malty nose; medium to full-bodied; sweet, slightly bitter flavour; estery-fruity, a bit vinous finish. Not a very fresh Bock....... joss (3247), Garching b. München, Germany Jan 2, 2007 Pretty red chestnut, restrained champagne bubbles, brown creamy head. Light roasted aroma. Sweet fruity and nutty base flavor, chocolate notes, aromatic finish. Medium body, never cloying. Fresh yet still fitting the season - nice.
