clear, pale golden with a beautiful fine head. aroma starts very restrained, after a while shows some grass, cereal, a little floral and citrus. surprisingly full body and nice, well-balanced taste. pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Pale golden color with a thin head. Aroma is a little bit hoppy and malty. Lightbodied. Flavor is a little bit malty. Mouthfeel is refreshing malty.

.5L bottle purchased and consumed in Bavaria in July 2012. Very fresh with a best by date of 13 March 2013. Pours a light golden yellow with a large, creamy near-white head. The head has great feel, very good retention, and leaves nice lacing. The aroma is rather light and smells a bit too much like a brewery as opposed to a beer. Although fairly light flavoring, there are no (other) flaws in this Helles, and the sweet/bitter balance is excellent. Mouthfeel: surprisingly full (medium body) and creamy. Well-chosen medium+ carbonation. [4+] O: a fine Bavarian Helles, albeit undistinguished except for its great mouthfeel.

Ontap in Greek resto, Munich. Gold yellow with thick head. Nose is eggy, malty. Taste is malty, eggy, a tad spicy.

Pours a quite golden brew with white foam. Nice lightfooted beer with this typical bavarian Helles taste.

Bottle, bought @ Edeka Allershausen. Clear yellow with a small creamy white film head. Aroma has fresh lemon, sweet malts, a touch of pear. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, light citrus, good malty sweetness. Well-balanced bitterness.

Bottle by 18.04.13. Sweet, very citrussy malt nose. Pours clear golden with a rocky bright white head. Taste is sweet and very malty with a light current of bitterness for a good attempt at balance. Some citrus, medium body feels a bit fat and very malty.

Pours pale yellow clear body with white tight head. Aromas include hops, malts, grains. Palate is thin watery, with medium lively carbonation and mouthfeel. Aftertaste sweet malts and medium short hops finish. Metallic finish.

Bottle 50, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is nutty and vegetable like, aroma is dry, low malty, hopy on the peppery ans grassy side. Low body, less interesting bitterness, very metallic at the finish.

It’s hazy yellow-golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, flower and light straw. The same is found in the slightly sweet flavor. The finish is slightly dry. Harmonic and nice.
