Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, and caramel. Thebflavor is sweet with notes of eggs, lemons, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Odd.

It’s slightly hazy dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and light fruit and straw. The light to moderately sweet flavor has notes of caramel, malt, fruit, and straw towards the rather dry finish.

(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, delicately herbal hops and a shy whiff of sulfur. Mildly sweet flavour, rather light bodied, despite its abv of 5.9%, moderately carbonated mf. A tad slim cara-malty base with delicately biscuity notes and shades of herbal hoppy spice in the background; moderately sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish with a tinge of caramel in the aftertaste. Okay. 15.VIII.14

It seems to be a spring Märzen beer. The pours is a deep, clear lightbrownish/gold. The head is off-white and leaves some ok lacing as it recedes. The smell is pleasant, if simple. It is mostly bready with a kick of herbal, earthy hops. The flavor is also very earthy. There is a hint of metallic flavor and nuts. It has a bit of herbal hoppiness to finish it off. This is an interesting Märzen if there ever was one. It doesn’t seem off, but intriguingly different.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, more and more spicy, light wheaty background. Some grasy notes. Finish well balanced and quite drinkable. Good one!

(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of chewy caramelized malts, grass, herbal hops and a hint of bubblegum. flavour is mostly the same, the malt profile is slightly toasted and without excessive sweetness or graininess, with hints of honey in the finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Light amber, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint caramel and light bread, faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and bread, faint hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, light bread with light grassy hoppyness. Märzen with notes of bread - not too sweet. OK but nothing special.
