A cloudy yellow coloured beer with a thick white head. A strong tropical fruit aroma with spice, everything you'd expect but turned up a notch! Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma with big tropical fruit flavours and a tart citrus fruit flavour, are followed by a dry, warming spice flavour of clove, cinnamon and even a nutmeg! All the elements are present in a long and lingering finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle on the train from Freising to Regensburg, Bamberg post Christmas jolly day 1. Pours light hazy, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has sugary pale wheat and little else. Very basic flavor, some white sugar, weak banana, yeasty dough, mild phenol notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, some dried wheat. Very simple. A gentleman’s three on this one.
