MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2007
(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a big, not very persistent light-beige foamy head, leaving lace. Moderately sweet and roasted, earthy malt aroma cacao, lighter notes of caramel and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, roast-malty taste with chocolate, cacao and caramel on a light herbal background; medium bodied with a mellow mouthfeel. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish, roast-malty with a rounded herbal hoppy touch. Tastes like a lighter dark Bock, pleasant and hearty stuff.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schade. Das Bier hat wirklich grandios angefangen. So reichts leider nur zum Mittelmaß.
