Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also. Starts mild, fine hoppy-fresh, flowery, modest dry. Some sweet notes in the background. Finish a bit drier, still mild, very drinkable. Great beer!

It’s golden with a subtle greenish hue and a creamy head. The aroma has hoppy, flowery and malty notes. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of German hops, flower, straw and the finish is slightly dry - a really nice pilsner!

Vielen Dank an Herzog Wilhelm für diese Flasche! Sehr stabiler Schaum, goldene Farbe.

In Belgium dubbimg a beer this grandiose creates big expectations. A label hulky-green with aroma hop flowers, huh? Then put some bloody fresh hops in the barrel, please. This is no more than a very traditional, chugging Helles with a slightly untraditional bitterness on the palate and in the aftertaste. But if a slightly butter aftertaste is paid for with the lives of 4 highly advertised noble aroma hops, then the time comes to tell Bavaria that using "hopfen", Hallertau and, last but not least, "Cuvée" in the title for your beer, is noblesse qui oblige. Alas, The kaiser doth wear no Klamotten, or at least not enough!!
