Tap. It’s golden with a huge creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of grain, straw and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, grain adn the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

On the darker end of the spectrum for a pilsner. Has a unique toasted finish with aromatic hops. Paired very well with a spicy doner kapab from the shop I got it from. Worth trying as it does not fit the classic pils category.

Bottle. Golden color. Dust. Hints of ripe fruit in the aroma. Cardboard. Malt in the sweetish flavor. Very low on carbon.

pivnizub (10176) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2007
Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Deep golden, slowly diminishing white head, sweetish-grainy aroma with a light bitter-grassy touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet and grainy finish with a Dortmunder-like "dimmed" hoppiness in the aftertaste. A quite spicy "Helles", the Pilsner qualities are hardly detectable..........

bottle, Danke pivnizub! Golden yellow colour, large and persistent head. Pleasantly hoppy, resiny and slightly grassy hoppy flavours with a malty background. Well-balanced Pilsener.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond fluffy head. Fresh herbal hoppy aroma with a light malty sweetness. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel; soft malty base with a present herbal hops character; dry and hop bitter, slightly grassy and sulphury finish. Not a perfectly rounded but still pretty drinkable Pilsener.
