500ml bottle. Clear dark amber to brown colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Dark malty aroma with a grainy chocolate touch, dry hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty with a nuttily touch, dry hoppy counterweight. Decent Doppelbock.

500ml bottle - shared by Rosenbergh - thanks!
Deep red. Sweet malty aroma. Has some bacon in the body. A bit yeasty in the taste. Not a particularly interesting bock apart from that slight hint of bacon.

500 ml bottle. BB 15/11/13. From bierzwerg.de.
Dark reddish brown colour with a tiny tan head. Malty aroma. Very malty. The flavour is also very malty but there’s some hoppy notes too. Mild sweetness. I like the label (different than the one pictured here).

(bottle) pours a clear deep copper colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of dark fruit, roasted malts and cherry schnaps, with a light grassiness, a hint of peaches and some marzipan. flavour is mostly the same, lots of roasted malts, heavy tobacco and sweet toffee, with only a light fruitiness and a chewy finish. medium to heavy-bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, brownish, nice head. Sharp aroma. Starts really strong and quite alcoholic. Dry-malty. More and more soapy-alcoholic, burning finish. Too unbalanced.

Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light dark fruits, light bread. Medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel, light dark fruitiness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness and light alcohol. Caramel sweetish doppelbock - nothing wrong/nothing special.

0.5 l bottle (7.5 %), thanks Anssi & Teemu. Reddish color. Sweet bready and raisiny aroma with almonds. Sweet nutty, caramelly and bready color with some alcohol warmt, almonds. Full body, soft palate. A bit too caramelly but not bad dessert bock.
