MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 17, 2007 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized frothy white head, quickly diminishing. Discreet aroma: moderately sweet and grainy nose with a touch of citrus. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with medium to light-crispy carbonation. Soft malty base with herbal hops with notes of citrus and a light grainy touch; almost dry, bitter-sweet malty and slightly hoppy finish. Just a decent Pilsener from the south-east of Germany. pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Aug 10, 2007 Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck): Golden coloured, small, quickly collapsing white head;, sweet-malty nose with shy citrousy hops and a faint touch of cardboard; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; shy bitterness in the finish. Drinkable, but no glorious "Helles".............. Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany Jun 12, 2007 bottle, bought at the brewery. Pale yellow, decent head. Quite malty with flavours of flowery and grassy hops, which ist very pleasant. Hoppy but not bitter, dry finish.
