Pours pale yellow and very cloudy with small white head. Smells yeasty-sourish, malty-grainy. Starts malty-fruity, yeasty-sourish, slight sweetish. Middle part is yeasty and sweet, slight malty. Goes into a fruity-fermented finish with some sourish yeast flavor.

Test vom 29.7.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,10,10,10,10 - 9,85

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lacing, white head. Grainy caramel malty aroma with a touch of hay. Taste is minimally metallic pale malty, minimally sourish, minimally dry hoppy note gains more weight towards the finish.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, mid-sized lacy white head, sweet grainy nose, well hidden hops and a yeasty fruitiness underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky, too; gets more "hoppier", but also a bit sourish, in the bitter-fruity finish. Just drinkable...

500 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A.
Pours a hazy yellow colour with a white firm head. Aroma of grass, grains and dried apricot. Flavour of grainy malts, grass, dried apricot, . Has that certain organic feeling. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and slick mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and grassy with a malty touch. Some citrusy notes as well. A bit weird for a zwickelbier, but good drinkability.

Thank you very much Julia and Norbert for bringing this back from Germany. Slightly hazy golden with a long-lasting rim head and swirls of lace. This drinks like Hoegaarden Light. Opens with wheat and malt mixed with light spices, especially coriander, and a hint of citrus. Overall, easy drinking, good for sessions, good for warm summer days. Recommended

Bassa persistenza amarostica.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy golden yellow, large and creamy white head. Yeasty, slightly fruity with a nice hoppy touch.
